The Tetris game here will probably be one of the most basic, bare bones Tetris clones that you will ever play. This thing is super hidden, ugly and difficult to play. When the free online Tetris games are so good, the only real reason to play this one is to chalk up some hardcore nerd points. Web site of Crazy Piri. Emacs is a nice operating system. Too bad it doesn't have a good editor.
*ducks*

another reason i like VI . . . no bloat
If you really hate bloat in your editor, you should use ed, man! !man edIt's the standard! Ed doesn't waste your time by gobbling up memory or getting in your face with a weird, inconsistent user interface. Try it today!
Wow, all those kilobytes of bloat. How can you stand it?

ed? My God, that thing is bloated as hell! I use cat as my editor. No fancy junk like going back and correcting your mistakes! I still remember when programmers were MEN, not little sissies whining for syntax highlighting in their editors. Punch cards, tape reels, and disk drives the size of washing machines. now those were the days.
yeah, talk about a bloated editor. emacs offers pong too (for 2 players). Just enter 'M-x pong' (M-x again equals to escape-x). One player can use the arrow-keys, the other the numbers 4 and 6.
Have fun!
Actually, emacs is not that bloated. It has a great lazy-loading system and all these 'goodies' are provided as packages. If you don't use them, they're not ever read from disk.

Try 'snake' also. ;) Or
doctor, hanoi, gomoku, blackbox, mpuz, 5x5, decipher, dunnet, lm, life, morse-region, pong, solitaire, studlify-region.
Cool, I didn't know of the other games, thanks! :-)
Well. just look at the sourcecode. 19.9MB. I wonder, if there isn't a quake-engine also included. ;)
Hi,
I am a really beginner with Mac and Terminal. After I applied this hint in terminal, I have noticed that my Tetris did turn out to be the black and white version.
I know Rob mentioned that if $TERM is set to VT100 (in Terminal Preferences), it'll show up as B&W version. And if I like the color version, I have to set $TERM to ansi.
Maybe what rob said is very obvious to many advenced Mac users out there, but I have tried to change mine into color version without luck. Can somebody be kindly walkthrough the steps for me on how to change the $TERM to ansi? I'll be very very appreciated for your help!

Look in Terminal -> Preferences; you'll see a drop-down menu where you can set $TERM. Then just open a new Terminal window after changing it.
-rob.
When I went to Terminal preferences, it just had two things- /bin/tcsh and open a saved .term . It had a select from file thing, but I don't know were to find it. sorry to be such a bother- im just a beginer
Yes, please help. Im also a begginer and have no idea what that that means -thanx

I didn't try it myself, but there might be a way! Or if you want to be lazy about it, just use Teamviewer and control you computer remotely!
Nerd maze mac os. Monster muncher mac os. It has some nifty things coded in, like reading your computer name, and whether or not you're running certain streaming programs, but it's all just predetermined script and can't do anything bad.
Spend time with Sayori, Natsuki, and Yuri before you get to the end. that's the closest you can get. And then go watch some great mods! I'd go with the Meta series.
You have to have coding skills like Monika and then you can do anything!
Learn how to decompile the code and make the game say and do whatever you want!

Has anyone seen this great series? With 168 views, I hope so!
Being insensitive to what people go through is no way to help someone. Check yourself!
Once you know how the game program does these things, it's not overly frightening once you get used to it. Ren'Py and coding are capable of a lot, such as reading your computer name to get your name and stuff like that, or realizing when you have a streaming program running. The game doesn't just magically know things, and when you tell yourself that, it becomes easier.
Actually it's Monika who deletes everything when Sayori goes crazy, because she knows no happiness can be found in the Literature club. Remember the letter you get from her after that?
For everyone who has finished the game and is looking for something more to continue the experience, there's a really good series for the game on YouTube, and it is still ongoing! I think it's one of the best if not the best mod for DDLC and it really gets you into it! You can find it at this playlist.

I played this game for the first time two years ago, and I can safely say it made my depression worse at the time. If you have any issues with depression, I recommend waiting until better times to play it. Meat (noiseminded) mac os.

Sorry, I haven't checked this in awhile. Yes, open up the 'stack of books' and extract or copy the folder anywhere you want to. If you're trying to do it through steam, I'm not sure as I always ran the game directly.
It's not a folder, it's an icon. I honestly don't know what's wrong with peoples' games. I downloaded the zip file, extracted all its contents onto my C drive, and the executable works. For the people using the Steam version, that confuses me further.
Have you seen the good ending where you get all the CGs for each girl? I admit, the normal ending you get just playing the game blind leaves you wanting more. But the best ending seems good enough, and there are lots of good mods out there that you should check out.
My personal theory is that we the players are the most important characters in the game. Even Monika has to submit to our will. Makes it very interesting when you consider all the mods in progress.
You have to delete Monika to get the best ending, but did you get each girl's CG images?
Track day (remzo) mac os. The page I linked has some pretty interesting theories that might surprise you.
Somehow during my browsing of discussions about the game, I came upon this page that mentions things I haven't seen anywhere else. It's quite interesting (but also very long).
Let's get some enriching conversation going about one of our favorite games! (This isn't really a game though, all the girls are real, and you love one or more of them)
Just kidding. lol
Try looking at the help file, I don't have Mac so the process is pretty easy for me!
You can probably just redownload the game if you have to, lol. That's why I keep the zip file on me.
Reading all this makes me glad I have a good Windows PC!
I don't know what you guys are experiencing, but everything you need is inside the zip file you download. It's just a folder. Put that folder anywhere you want on your desktop, and the pink DDLC icon is the exe file.
I know, right? The mods keep it going after you're done with the original game too :D
The pink DDLC icon in the game's folder is the exe file.

That fan mod is being worked on, as well as some other good ones. Definitely some good content for those hungry for more.

Ha, I reinstalled the game too when I first got to that part. I didn't lose anything though, I just missed out on some lines of dialogue at first, but unless you delete the firstrun file and choose to delete your save, your progress is still all there.
